Job summary

J. Safra Sarasin in Basel is seeking an Avaloq Integration Engineer to join a dynamic team delivering scalable integration solutions on the Avaloq Container Reference Platform.

You will design, develop and maintain services, contribute to real-time messaging projects, and work with infrastructure and release teams to ensure end-to-end quality.

The role requires university-level education in CS or BIS, Avaloq certification is an advantage, banking integration experience, and fluent English.

Qualifications

• Higher education in Computer Science, BIS or comparable field.
• Avaloq Academy Professional Certification (ACIP) is an advantage.
• First relevant work experience in system integration development in the banking industry.
• Experience with Avaloq is a plus.
• Knowledge in OpenShift, OpenAPI, Apache Kafka, Java, .NET is an advantage.
• Ability to weigh problems and set priorities.
• Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
• Hands-on mentality and ability to work independently.
• Fluency in English.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain scalable services on the Avaloq Container Reference Platform (ACPR/Openshift).
• Contribute to strategic integration projects featuring bi-directional, real-time message streaming.
• Diagnose and resolve complex integration issues across multiple channels.
• Partner with infrastructure and release management teams to guarantee end-to-end solution quality, from design to deployment.
• Support testing campaigns and rollouts.
