Alstom in Zürich is seeking an Integrated Service Readiness & FRACAS Engineer (f/m/d), 80-100%. The role focuses on maintenance planning, life cycle cost (LCC) calculations, and collaborating with integrators and suppliers to deliver reliable locomotives.

You will work within the ISR team under the MPC Services Engineering division, defining spare parts, conducting FRACAS analyses, preparing LCC data, and supporting gate reviews with customers and internal partners.

Qualifikationen

• A degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering from a university or university of applied sciences.
• At least five years’ professional experience in field service, warranty and maintenance of locomotives.
• At least three years’ professional experience in RAM/LCC engineering within the electrical or mechanical engineering sector.
• Knowledge of standards and regulations relating to maintenance.
• Knowledge of FRACAS (Failure Reporting Analysis and Corrective Action System).

Aufgaben

• Estimating ISR effort for tenders and projects.
• Drawing up the ISR plan for tenders and projects.
• Definition of spare parts and special tools; updating lists and overviews.
• Collaborating with Procurement to determine costs of spare parts and tools.
• Managing LSA activities to fulfil QCD obligations.
• Allocating tasks to other departments, suppliers and partners.
• Representing the team in project discussions and with customers.
• Organising ISR Design Reviews and Gate Reviews.
• Regular reporting to ISR unit and KPI tracking.
• Defining maintenance activities and intervals based on supplier specs.
• Ensuring compliance with EN17023, ECM and other standards.
• Preparation of LCC calculations and monitoring availability with LCC in mind.
• Optimising maintenance plans (including CBM) to improve locomotive availability.
• Preparing supporting documentation when maintenance intervals change.
• Collaboration on FRACAS analyses for existing and new locomotives.
