Job summary

Worldline seeks a Security Officer to lead security program delivery across business units in a regulated environment. You will own security relationships, implement state-of-the-art controls, and drive security-by-design across projects.

Role requires 5+ years in IT security, cloud security experience, and strong English and German communication skills. Swiss-based, on-site position offering growth and global impact.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor in IT, IT Security, Engineering or equivalent.
  • Certificate in security (e.g. CISSP, CEH, …) is a strong plus
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in IT security or other relevant field
  • Proven experience navigating complex environments
  • Google cloud security and DevOps knowledge is a strong plus
  • Knowledge of PCI DSS, ISO27001 and Dora security frameworks is a strong plus
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills in English both verbally and written
  • Good level in German is mandatory
  • Results driven and persistent
  • Multicultural mindset and flexibility, able to work in an international environment

Responsibilities

  • Owns the security relationship with the Business Units, acting as the primary and accountable point of contact for all security-related topics, including security requirements, and decision support.
  • Designing and implementing state-of-the-art security solutions that align with the directives set by internal and external stakeholders, ensuring robust protection against emerging threats.
  • Developing and enforcing security best practices, including overseeing patch management and obsolescence processes to ensure systems are up-to-date and secure.
  • Managing and coordinating with third-party suppliers to ensure compliance with security standards and practices.
  • Innovating and streamlining security processes to enhance operational efficiency, introducing new methodologies while refining existing ones for continuous improvement.
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to integrate effective security measures into all business projects and operations.
  • Ensuring that security best practices are embedded in the design and implementation phases of business projects.
  • Participating in operational committees to ensure that security requirements are adequately addressed and met.
  • Overseeing the implementation of identified mitigation actions as defined in the Risk Treatment Plan.
  • Manage security incident response activities, including analysis and remediation of security breaches.
  • Collaborate on security certification audits and security assessments initiated by customers to ensure compliance with industry standards.

The role focuses on strengthening and maintaining effective IT and business security practicesacross all Business Units in a highly sensitive and regulated environment.
The Security Officer acts as the primary point of contact for the Business Units on all security related matters, providing guidance, oversight, and support to ensure that security threats areidentified, assessed, and appropriately managed.Close collaboration with business, technical, and compliance stakeholders is essential to ensurethat security measures are effective, proportionate, and aligned with regulatory expectations. The
position plays a key role in embedding security-by-design principles across business operationsand promoting consistent security standards across the organization.

Day-to-day responsibilities
