Job summary

Ligentec in Lausanne/Ecublens, Switzerland, seeks an Industrialisation Project Manager to scale the Thin-Film Lithium Niobate platform to high-volume production. You will coordinate NPI roadmaps, manage scope, budget, milestones, and work with R&D, process engineering, and external foundries.

Fluent English required; knowledge of French is a plus. This on-site role offers exposure to market-leading photonics applications and opportunities to drive industrial manufacturing leadership.

Qualifications

• Advanced degree in Photonics, Microelectronics, or related engineering.
• Hands-on track record in semiconductor or photonic manufacturing with TFLN and/or SiN exposure.
• Experience with New Product Introduction (NPI), yield ramp-up, and wafer-scale fabrication.
• Proven multi-stakeholder project leadership; PMP/Prince2/Agile a plus.
• Fluent English; knowledge of French is valuable.

Responsibilities

• Lead TFLN scale-up and NPI initiatives from pilot to high-volume manufacturing.
• Define scope, budget, milestones, and schedules; mitigate technical bottlenecks.
• Manage technical and commercial relationships with external foundries, suppliers, and vendors; define SOWs and negotiate contracts.
• Serve as PMO liaison across R&D, process engineering, operations, and leadership to ensure alignment.
• Institutionalize PMO methodologies, stage-gate reviews, and KPI dashboards with quality standards.
