Job summary

Takeda Zurich-based role focuses on translating global medical strategy into actionable IMM medical education programs across IBU and LOCs, delivering science-driven plans, events, and resources for IMM indications. Partners with GMA to drive content for congresses and digital initiatives.

The candidate will lead IBU medical education strategy, engage KOLs, and ensure resource allocation aligns with budgets, timelines, and launch readiness across markets.

Qualifications

• Therapeutic Area & Scientific Expertise: Medical Affairs, Scientific Communications, External Scientific Relations, or Clinical Development in pharma/biotech, immunology focus.
• Strategy Translation & Execution: translate global strategies into execution across IBU and LOCs.
• Digital Engagement: develop innovative/digital formats for scientific exchange.
• Cross functional / Matrix Collaboration: act in a matrix across Global, IBU, LOCs with limited supervision.
• Launch Execution & Field Enablement: support launch readiness and field execution.
• Communication & Coordination: strong written/verbal skills and stakeholder management.
• Aptitude in writing, reviewing, presenting data for external audiences.
• Operational & Financial Management: manage budgets and resources effectively.

Responsibilities

• Translate global medical strategies into IBU/LOC execution for assigned TA/products.
• Lead IBU strategy for congress deliverables, booth assets and satellite symposia.
• Drive prioritized congresses and digital communication formats.
• Develop scientific content with GMA/IBU TA leads; ensure timely delivery within budget.
• Enable LOC medical teams with alignment and support; interface across LOCs and Global.
