Job summary

Takeda in Zurich, Switzerland, seeks a Medical Affairs leader to translate global medical strategy into local execution across IBU and LOCs, partnering with cross-functional teams to drive launches and medical insight generation.

You will lead KOL engagement, ensure consistency of scientific narratives across markets, and manage budgets and resources to enable timely, compliant execution.

Qualifications

• Advanced scientific degree (MD, PhD, PharmD, or equivalent).
• Typically < 8+ years experience in Medical Affairs and/or clinical development in pharma/biotech, specific to Immunology (Derm, Rheum & Gastro).
• Prior regional or global experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Translate global medical strategy into execution across IBU and LOCs.
• Lead KOL engagement strategy and scientific narratives.
• Collaborate across MCE, Market Access, R&D, GMA to integrate medical insights.
• Enable LOCs to execute global strategies with clear guidance.
• Manage budgets and resources for assigned activities.
