We are supporting an innovative international technology environment in the search for an IIoT Technology Lead (Industrial Connectivity).

This is a fantastic opportunity for a senior technical expert who enjoys shaping technology strategy, evaluating future trends and influencing how modern industrial plants evolve through Industrial Ethernet, Fieldbus technologies & IIoT solutions.

This role focuses on:

• Technology leadership
• Strategic consulting
• Standardisation & digitalisation initiatives
• Cross-functional collaboration with engineering, product & business teams

The environment combines:

• Industrial connectivity technologies
• Evaluate emerging technology trends within industrial connectivity & automation
• Support digital transformation initiatives across process industry environments
• Help define technical strategies and implementation concepts
• Act as a subject matter expert for Industrial Ethernet, Fieldbus & IIoT technologies
• Collaborate with international engineering and business stakeholders
• Contribute to internal standards, technical guidelines & best practices
• Participate in industry working groups and standardisation initiatives

What We’re Looking For

• Several years of experience within industrial automation, industrial networking or process technology
• Strong understanding of Industrial Ethernet / Fieldbus / IIoT environments
• Experience within process industries or industrial plant environments
• Ability to work strategically and communicate across technical & business teams
• Background as a senior engineer, technical specialist, architect, consultant, product technology lead or technology manager
• German language skills at B2 level or above and fluent English
• Knowledge of plant lifecycle workflows
• Exposure to standardisation bodies or technical committees
• Product or technology management exposure
