Are you an experienced technical team leader with a background in Industrial IoT, industrial digitalisation or automation?

We are supporting an established international technology organisation in the appointment of a an IIoT & Digital Solutions Team Lead.

This is a particularly interesting opportunity for someone who enjoys sitting at the intersection of technology, leadership, customers and business — leading a small specialist team while helping develop and deliver sophisticated digital solutions for industrial environments.

The Role

You will take leadership responsibility for a team of approximately 5–6 professionals, providing direction, coaching and support while helping the team successfully deliver complex customer projects.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Leading, mentoring and developing a team of technical/project professionals.
• Overseeing the successful delivery of industrial digitalisation, connectivity and integration projects.
• Working closely with customers and internal stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into effective technical solutions.
• Helping identify and develop new project and business opportunities.
• Supporting proposals, solution definition and commercial discussions.
• Improving project delivery methods, processes and ways of working.
• Helping transform successful customer solutions into approaches that can be reused and scaled across future projects.
• Acting as an important link between technical teams, project delivery, customers and the wider business.

Your Background

We're particularly interested in speaking with candidates who bring:

• Proven team leadership / people management experience within a technical environment.
• Experience within Industrial IoT, industrial digitalisation, automation, connected systems or related technologies.
• A good understanding of how modern digital technologies integrate within industrial environments.
• Experience delivering complex technical or customer-facing projects.
• The ability to combine technical understanding with commercial awareness.
• Strong stakeholder and customer-management skills.
• Experience working across multidisciplinary and international teams.
• A proactive, entrepreneurial approach and the ability to identify opportunities rather than simply execute predefined projects.
• Knowledge of industrial communication technologies, digital architectures and modern project/sales tools would be advantageous.

Languages

• Strong English is required.
• German would be advantageous but is not mandatory.
• Some international travel may be required.
