Novartis Basel seeks Translational Medicine Expert (TME) to oversee phase 1 and 2 FiH/PoC studies, work with global teams, and drive early clinical development.

You are a medical doctor with gastroenterology board certification, experienced in IBD, able to lead cross-functional teams, and communicate findings and strategy across internal and external stakeholders. Hybrid work arrangement available.

Qualifikationen

• Medical doctor with gastroenterology board certification and clinical IBD experience.
• Ability to learn fast and work independently.
• Ability to lead multidisciplinary teams in a matrix organization.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.

Aufgaben

• Lead global clinical trial teams through phase 1 and 2 development.
• Draft the early clinical development plan.
• Act as medical lead for early clinical studies.
• Represent the team in relevant decision boards.
• Serve as primary contact for internal and external key opinion leaders.
• Oversee publication and presentation of study results.
• Collaborate with biomarker experts in implementation.
• Work with research scientists on preclinical strategy.
• Engage in Health Authority interactions.
