Zusammenfassung

LocalBini is seeking a Co-Tech Lead & Senior Backend Engineer to join a hybrid/remote team in St. Gallen. You will lead backend development in Python, architect infrastructure with Terraform on AWS, and ensure software quality via unit, integration, and end-to-end tests.

Role requires eight+ years Python, strong AWS experience, and familiarity with React/Flutter. The position initially offers stock compensation with potential cash talks later.

Qualifikationen

• Minimum eight years of hands-on commercial Python experience.
• Proficient with React, AWS (Lambda, S3, SES, SQS), Python, Terraform, and Flutter.
• Extensive Python expertise focused on REST APIs.
• In-depth knowledge of AWS services including DynamoDB and OpenSearch.
• Familiarity with ORM-based approaches using PostgreSQL.
• Experience with Terraform in an AWS environment.
• Strong understanding of asyncio loops, aiohttp, and AWS EventBridge.
• Experience in Event-Driven and Microservices architectures.
• Knowledge of Domain Driven Development.
• Basic knowledge of React with Redux and Redux Toolkit using TypeScript.
• Experience with AWS Cognito and AWS Amplify.
• Knowledge of UI/UX design principles.
• Proficiency in platform testing: Unit, Integration, and UI tests.
• DevOps mindset with CI/CD maintenance (GitLab).
• Fundamental cybersecurity knowledge including automated penetration tests.
• Familiarity with AWS cost and performance optimization.
• Excellent attention to detail and analytical mindset.
• Capability for self-code review and proficiency with JIRA.
• NICE TO HAVE: Lambdalizator framework.

Aufgaben

• Collaborate with System-Architect to ensure high quality architecture and scalable code.
• Coordinate with part-time remote team and St. Gallen business team to design and refine software.
• Build robust backend applications in Python for performance and reliability.
• Develop Terraform infrastructure on AWS for scalable ecosystem.
• Conduct thorough testing including unit, integration, and end-to-end tests.
• Implement mobile-responsive design principles for cross-device UX.
• Produce comprehensive technical documentation.
• Collaborate with data scientists to improve LocalBini.
