LocalBini is seeking a Co-Tech Lead & Senior Python Engineer to join our hybrid/remote team. You will design and implement robust backend systems in Python, build infrastructure with Terraform on AWS, and drive software quality through tests.

Collaboration with the part-time remote team and in-house stakeholders is essential to scale our platform. Ideal candidates have 8+ years in Python, deep AWS knowledge (Lambda, S3, DynamoDB, Open Search), REST API design, and a DevOps mindset with CI/CD.

Qualifikationen

• 8+ years of hands-on Python experience.
• Proficient with Python stack: React, AWS, Terraform, Flutter.
• Extensive Python REST API development experience.
• Knowledge of AWS services: DynamoDB, OpenSearch.
• Familiarity with PostgreSQL (ORM-based).
• Terraform in AWS environments.
• Awareness of asyncio, aiohttp, EventBridge.
• Experience with Event-Driven / Microservices architectures.

Aufgaben

• Collaborate with System-Architect to ensure high quality architecture and code base for scalable development.
• Collaborate with part-time remote team and St. Gallen business team to refine the software solution.
• Craft robust back-end applications using Python for performance and reliability.
• Develop infrastructure with Terraform, leveraging AWS PaaS/SaaS/FaaS/IaaS for a scalable ecosystem.
• Conduct thorough testing to validate software responsiveness and security of data.
• Implement mobile-responsive design principles for features and apps across devices.
• Generate comprehensive technical documentation.
• Collaborate with data scientists to enhance LocalBini experience through improvement and innovation.
