Job summary

Zurich is seeking a senior leader to own and drive the cross-LOB underwriting vision, shaping strategy for Neo Pre-Bind and Z-Horizon+ roadmaps while considering AI-enabled tooling evolution.

You will provide clear direction to analysts, delivery teams and stakeholders, align senior leaders across the Group, and ensure the end-to-end underwriting journey delivers measurable value and standardisation across platforms.

Qualifications

• Strong experience with underwriting processes across multiple LOBs/units.
• Strategic thinking and vision setting for UW solutions.
• Ability to plan for UW tooling evolution with AI.
• Proven product owner or transformation leadership in complex environments.
• Experience shaping roadmaps and prioritising backlogs with business and tech teams.
• Excellent stakeholder management and ability to influence senior leaders.
• Strong judgment for decisions in ambiguous, time-sensitive situations.
• Understanding of standardisation and reuse across large platforms.

Responsibilities

• Own and maintain cross-LOB underwriting vision and drive business strategy.
• Provide clear direction to Business Analysts, delivery and platform teams.
• Apply CAPDAN to standardise underwriting capabilities.
• Engage senior stakeholders across Group, BUs, lines of business.
• Manage competing priorities and reconcile local vs enterprise needs.
• Shape cross-LOB backlog and align requirements to priorities.
• Collaborate with post-bind, operations, technology and change teams.
• Lead business case prep, investment prioritisation and benefit tracking.
• Champion adoption by embedding capabilities into underwriting practice.
• Ensure end-to-end underwriting journey is aligned.
