Job summary

INP Schweiz AG seeks an experienced engineer to lead GIS installation projects across Europe. You will manage on-site installation, maintenance, and quality control while coordinating teams and interfacing with customers and subcontractors.

Flexibility to travel up to 80% and adapt to multicultural environments is required. English proficiency is essential, German is advantageous; a valid European work permit is assumed. The role is based on-site with our team in Switzerland.

Qualifications

• Electrical or mechanical education with at least 3 years of experience in GIS installation and commissioning.
• Language skills: English required; German knowledge is advantageous.
• Willingness to travel up to 80% across Europe and work in multicultural environments.

Responsibilities

• Provide on-site leadership during GIS installation (110 kV–550 kV) in sub-transmission and transmission networks.
• Take responsibility for on-site installation, maintenance and repair activities.
• Ensure on-site quality through inspections and test protocols.
• Assess project-specific risks and implement mitigation measures.
• Coordinate, instruct and supervise all workforce activities on site.
• Act as interface between end customers, subcontractors and project management.

Hey, I'm Ben Goepfert, and I work in the field of medium-voltage and industrial plants. We have over 25 professionals from Switzerland and around the world working with us. We are experts in the planning, supervision of assembly, site management, and commissioning of electrical infrastructures for industrial facilities.
