As a member of both the HR Global Operations & Quality and HR International leadership teams, the Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP) collaborates with business leaders, managers, and employees across the division / function to oversee end-to-end people management processes in areas such as performance management, talent management and development, leadership coaching, culture, organizational design, employee relations, and change management to drive business results. They are responsible for building strong business acumen and client relationships to effectively drive business accountability in the end-to-end people management processes.

Key to this role's success is collaborating with global HR Centers of Excellence (CoEs) and global HRBPs to provide guidance to leaders in support of strategy to enable the growth and scalability of the business. This includes driving HR alignment with the business and country strategies, organizational capabilities for multi-year growth in manufacturing plants, service, and repair centers, and HR management responsibilities across multiple countries in Europe.

Strategy and Talent Management

  • Provide strategic partnership to the business, influencing people and culture decisions through knowledge of the business, markets, priorities, and strategic plans.
  • Review and implement organization and talent strategies to ensure a robust pipeline of talent.
  • Work with Talent Management COE and business leaders to facilitate sessions to articulate and grow leadership capabilities.
  • Provide coaching to managers and employees to support leadership development, engagement, and business decision-making.
  • Identify learning and development needs and work with the Talent Management COE to create and implement programs, including facilitating training as needed.

Performance Management and Employee Relations

  • Advise managers and employees on performance-related issues, including training managers on the performance management cycle and advising on performance plans.
  • Facilitate resolution of performance and employee relations issues.
  • Ensure consistent application of HR policies and compliance with employment laws.

Organization Design and Change Management

  • Recommend organization design solutions to meet business needs while optimizing performance.
  • Develop and implement change management strategies to support organizational transitions.
  • Lead HR change initiatives as needed.

Compensation Planning

  • Partner with the business and Compensation team on job architecture and salary planning processes.
  • Make recommendations on compensation decisions based on market and internal data, aligning with the Compensation COE.

Workforce Planning and Talent Acquisition

  • Assess resource needs based on strategic initiatives and coordinate with Talent Acquisition to ensure effective sourcing.
  • Facilitate the selection of high-performing, diverse talent for critical roles.

Diversity, Inclusion, and Culture

  • Lead culture and change management initiatives.
  • Promote diversity and inclusion to foster innovation and reflect customer base.
  • Enhance workplace culture through engagement initiatives.
  • Implement strategies to create a high-performance culture.

Compliance and Risk Management

  • Ensure compliance with union and works council activities and regulations across countries.
  • Stay informed of government influences on HR policies and practices.
  • Maintain compliance with employment laws and safety regulations.

HR Metrics and Reporting

  • Use HR metrics to evaluate initiatives and inform decision-making.
  • Support data-driven HR and talent strategies.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 10 years of HR experience, including managing country regulations and change management activities.
  • Fluency in German, English, and French, with strong communication skills in all three languages.
  • Background as a strategic HR Business Partner, with experience in HR centers of excellence preferred.
  • Experience in manufacturing or similar environments, with knowledge of hourly workforce challenges preferred.
  • Experience with US-headquartered organizations and regulated environments like MedTech preferred.
  • Strong collaboration, coaching, facilitation, and analytical skills.
  • Experience with HR systems such as Workday is a plus.
  • Ability to balance company, manager, and employee needs while demonstrating core values.
