Zusammenfassung

The UN Secretariat in Geneva invites applications for an Associate Human Resources Officer in OHCHR’s Operations Unit, HRMS. You will advise managers and staff on HR policies, oversee recruitment, placement and contracts, administer salary and benefits, and support staff development and onboarding.

Requirements include a Master’s or equivalent in HR or related field, or a first-level degree with additional experience; at least two years in HR management and one year in HR ERP modules; ability to

Qualifikationen

Advanced degree in HR or related field required or equivalent experience.
Two years of progressive HR management or administration experience.
One year of experience with ERP HR modules.
Experience in complex, volatile environments; UN experience advantageous.
UN Competitive Recruitment Examination candidates may qualify with a first-level degree and no experience.

Aufgaben

Provide expert advice and support on HR policies, practices, and procedures.
Manage recruitment and placement activities, including offers and contracts.
Administer and advise on salary, benefits, travel, and entitlements.
Process education grants, dependencies, Home Leave, and Rest and Recuperation.
Handle medical insurance plan applications, UNJSPF enrollments, and claims.
Provide induction and orientation for new staff members.
Guide managers on classification policies and procedures, including reviews.
