Your RoleYou lead the System and Verification Engineering team as a disciplinary manager in a matrix organization
You ensure the availability of the necessary expertise in system and verification engineering
You take on technical leadership in areas such as specification engineering, architecture, and concept development
You are responsible for the design of control systems as well as the planning and execution of tests
You manage technical suppliers and contractors and serve as a technical point of contact for stakeholders
You ensure adequate overall performance and quality of tasks assigned by projects
You conduct cost and effort estimations to support project planning
You review the work and deliverables of the team and further develop the necessary competencies within the team
You promote initiatives, innovations, and continuous improvements in terms of know-how, tools, and methods
You contribute to transnational resource planning within the matrix organization and support the development of a skill matrix for all team members
master's degree or PhD in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, Robotics, or a related field
at least 3 years of experience in disciplinary team leadership
at least 5 years of experience with proven expertise and track record in complex mechanical design or system engineering (mechatronic systems, high precision motion, space mechanisms)
knowledge of relevant system engineering methodology, verification equipment, and control architecture
ability to motivate employees and establish an effective team; experienced in communication and collaboration between departments and external service providers
fluent English skills (at least C1) and solid German language skills (at least B2)
