Qualifikationen

Head of Support Applications (80-100%)

Location:Geneva
When:01.09.2025 or upon availability

Your mission:

In this role, you will be responsible for the tools that make up the Quality Tool Chain. As the team leader you ensure that the end-user requests are answered on-time and on-quality.You elaborate the roadmap of the Quality Tool Chain and ensure its implementation by the team and with the support of the external suppliers.

  • Own and manage a suite of critical tools and applications, including Jira Cloud, Confluence Cloud, Polarion, OpenText, and others
  • Lead a team of five engineers and supervise the collaboration with external integrators and suppliers
  • Ensure high-quality support to the end users and foster strong relationships with internal stakeholders
  • Define and evolve the strategic roadmap for the toolchain to align with business needs
  • Improve the tool chain by implementing robust digital interfaces and enforcing best practices and standards
  • Track costs compared to approved budget
What we are looking for:
  • Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related engineering field
  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a leadership role within software or toolchain management
  • Proven experience with Jira Cloud or Polarion
  • Hands-on experience with the interaction with end-users and the configuration of software
  • Decision making: You make timely decisions, adjust them when necessary, and mitigate the influence of bias or emotions in the decision-making process
  • Building relationships: You express gratitude and appreciation, respect personal boundaries, and invest time in genuinely caring for others and maintaining your network
  • Proficient in English written and orally, good command in French and/or German is a plus
