METTLER TOLEDO's Laboratory Weighing (LabTec) is seeking a dynamic Head of Software Development in Nänikon-Greifensee to lead a team of approximately 30 software professionals and become a key member of the R&D Leadership Team.

You will shape software strategy across embedded, Linux, PC, and service software, drive architectures and CI/CD, foster engineering excellence, and collaborate with Product Management, Hardware, Service, and Quality to deliver next‑generation hardware platforms.

Qualifications

• University degree in Computer Science or related field.
• Extensive software development experience for hardware-integrated products.
• Experience defining software architecture and platform strategies.

Responsabilités

• Lead and develop a software organization of ~30 professionals.
• Define and execute software strategy across embedded, Linux, PC, and service software.
• Own and evolve the Linux/Debian platform for future products.
• Define and implement the AI strategy for software development.
• Collaborate with Product Management, Hardware Engineering, Service and Quality.
• Represent software topics at leadership level.
