METTLER TOLEDO is seeking a Team Lead Software Architecture at our Nänikon-Greifensee HQ to combine people leadership with deep architectural expertise in laboratory balances. You will guide architecture across product boundaries and help shape the platform for future development, ensuring modularity, maintainability, and robust data handling.

Qualifikationen

• A degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Physics, or a comparable field.
• Several years of experience as a software or systems architect for complex products.

Aufgaben

• Providing technical and managerial leadership for around seven software architects.
• Aligning architects across product lines and early project phases, and coordinating with project management and product management.
• Facilitating architecture decisions, integrating different perspectives, and making decisions yourself when required.
• Ensuring consistent standards, reviews, and traceable architecture decisions within the team.
• Further developing the cross‑product target architecture and actively driving modularization and harmonization.
• Setting technical guardrails with maintainability, robustness, performance, OIML requirements, and cybersecurity.
• Identifying architecture topics early and preparing sound decision proposals.
• Ensuring device integration into PC software and customer systems, and harmonizing interfaces, protocols, and data models.
• Incorporating data integrity and cybersecurity requirements into the architecture and acting as a technical advisor to management.
