Job Title : Head of Supply Chain Management

Location : Bern (80-100%)

Role Overview :

Optimus Search has partnered with a leading chemicals company based in Kanton Berne . As a Head of Supply Chain Management , you will be responsible for guiding the company's supply chains, including expanding their industrial production capabilities globally.

Responsibilities :

• Take charge of infrastructure upgrades and maintenance in production sites across key regions
• Supervise supply chain and production teams globally
• Coordinate cross-functional planning to align production with sales and inventory needs
• Oversee QHSE management across supply and manufacturing functions
• Lead the formulation and application of strategic plans and initiatives
• Maintain productive partnerships with strategic suppliers
• Develop organisational capabilities in supply chain and production management
• Set and control guidelines for warehouse and logistics management
• Manage production operations to meet targets and maintain efficiency
• Willing to undertake business travel as required

Requirements :

• Completed advanced technical education (Uni / ETH) in a related discipline
• Additional education in business administration
• Demonstrated track record of leadership and professional success in supply chain and production within chemical or industrial sectors
• Familiarity with certification standards such as ISO, QS, and similar frameworks
• Strong technical understanding of manufacturing equipment and processes, with skills in process optimisation and problem-solving
• Native level German or English, with a similar level in the other; knowledge of additional languages is a bonus
