Our focus is on active ingredients for Hair Care, Skin Care, Sun Care, Paints & Coatings, and Food & Healthcare.

Role Head of Sales – Switzerland

Location: Basel, Switzerland | Travel: ~6–8 business days/month

Employment Type: Full-time, On-site, Swiss Employment Contract

About the Role

Kumar Organic Products Ltd. is hiring a strategic and performance-driven Head of Sales – Switzerland to lead and expand our operations in the Swiss market. This is a critical leadership role focused on driving revenue, building strong client relationships, and managing a high-impact sales team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and implement the Swiss sales strategy in alignment with company goals
  • Lead and manage the national sales team to achieve business growth targets
  • Cultivate relationships with key customers in personal care, life sciences, and specialty chemicals
  • Collaborate with product, R&D, and supply chain teams to ensure customer satisfaction and solution delivery
  • Drive both new customer acquisition and existing account development
  • Attend client meetings, conferences, and industry events as needed (travel ~6–8 business days/month)
Compensation & Benefits
  • Annual Fixed Salary: CHF 120,000
  • Retention Bonus: CHF 15,000 after 12 months of service
  • Performance Bonus: CHF 15,000 based on sales targets
  • Vacation: 30 days annually
  • Medical Leave: In accordance with Swiss law
  • Notice Period: Standard; early exit within 12 months may require reimbursement of costs
  • Non-Compete Clause: Binding post-employment
Candidate Requirements
  • 8+ years of experience in sales or business development within chemical, life sciences, or cosmetics industries
  • Proven leadership in managing sales teams and achieving targets
  • Deep understanding of Swiss market dynamics and client expectations
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Fluency in English; German or French is a plus
  • Swiss or EU work authorization required
