maxon is a global provider of precision drive systems, seeking a Head of Systems Engineering Robotics to lead the robotics systems engineering team across Zurich, Sachseln and Barcelona. You will drive requirements management, system architecture, and testing while aligning with product management and business development.

You will grow core competencies, establish best practices, and ensure high-quality engineering work across the organization, while traveling internationally and guiding

Qualifikationen

• Degree required in Robotics, Mechatronics, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or Physics.
• Experience leading projects or development teams in robotics.
• Willing to travel internationally (approx. 10%).
• German and English communication at B2/C1 level.

Aufgaben

• Lead and develop an international systems engineering team for robotics across Zurich, Sachseln and Barcelona.
• Own the systems engineering aspects for robotic drive system solutions.
• Act as the systems engineering lead for robotics, interfacing between component development centers, business units, product management, sales and production.
• Build and maintain partnerships with research institutions and suppliers.
• Shape the technology and product roadmap for robotic drive systems.
• Support key robotics customers and represent their requirements within maxon.
