Major is supporting a multinational Chemical Manufacturing client in Zurich with finding a senior quality leader overseeing QA/QC/QMS functions and leading a growing team of 15+ fte.

Cultivate a Quality Culture across the business, spearhead global compliance goals and standards whilst focusing on continuous improvement.

Responsibilities:

• Lead and develop the Quality team in alignment with their personal and technical growth objectives.
• Manage recruitment, performance management, and coaching initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with international standards (ISO 9001, ISO 14001, REACH, GMP)
• Oversee QMS implementation, internal/external audits, and management reviews.
• Manage vendor and customer audits, enhancing supplier quality.
• Maintain QA/QC integrity, supervise complaint handling, recalls, and batch release.
• Respond to client quality queries and provide technical support on material issues.

Profile:

• Degree in Chemistry / Process Engineering or any relevant education.
• 5+ years in quality leadership roles within a regulated manufacturing environment – Chemical industry preferred.
• Fluent in German and English.
• Proven leadership in high-paced settings with a strong focus on continuous improvement and problem-solving.
