Head of Product Management and Innovation (m / f / d) — Neuhausen

We are seeking a visionary Head of Product Management and Innovation to lead our Product Management Team. You will report to the Director of R&D and collaborate closely with Sales, Professional Service, and R&D.

Your Key Responsibilities

• Identify market opportunities through research and customer visits.
• Lead a technically oriented Product Management Team, fostering a culture of business acumen and holistic product lifecycle understanding.
• Conduct competitor analysis and understand stakeholder needs to inform purchase criteria and value drivers.
• Develop and manage a product roadmap aligned with customer needs and competitive advantages.
• Support value-based pricing strategies to enable premium pricing and measurable commercial outcomes.
• Formulate a multi-year product strategy responsive to evolving customer needs.
• Collaborate on go-to-market strategies to meet or exceed booking and revenue targets.
• Create five-year revenue and profitability forecasts supported by GTM strategies.
• Define and analyze KPIs to measure success and drive improvements.
• Participate in standardization committees like VDV or UITP.
• Stay updated on technology and market trends.
• Act as a product evangelist internally and externally.
• Initiate participation in industrial research programs.

Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, business administration, engineering, or equivalent.
• Experience in B2B product management within a technology company.
• Proficiency in designing scalable, secure, and efficient technology solutions.
• Background in product development and launching technology-based services.
• Customer-facing experience in the transport technology industry.
• Strategic thinking with a hands-on approach, aligning technology with business goals.
• Excellent communication skills and collaborative mindset; native German speaker with very good English skills.
• Proven leadership and mentoring experience in managing product managers across cross-functional teams.
• Effective presentation skills for industry and executive audiences.
• Willingness to travel up to 30% within the DACH region.
