As a Head of Product Management you will mainly be responsible for leading and managing the resources of the Product Management team, but also for providing correct, competitive, profitable and creative proposals to our customers, as a Product Manager.
Your tasks
- Lead the Product Management team
- Manage the ESCP resources, allocating and prioritizing requests received in function of abilities and capabilities.
- Define and set objectives, and make sure those are regularly tracked and properly reported.
- Ensure adherence to standards, policies and processes (DoA, costing assumptions…)
- Identify opportunities for new MRO services adding value to our customers
- Provide competitive, profitable and creative proposals to customers
- Adjust or develop the internal SR Technics processes and standards to guarantee the correct execution of the RFP's
- Make sure adequate commercial products/offering are in place and implemented by their team, together with the Product Development team
- Coordinate assumptions and strategy for proposals with other SR Technics departments
- Support and conduct negotiations, provide technical and commercial customer care during proposal phase
- Ensure smooth handover of relevant contract information to other departments after contract signature
- Ensure costing tools are in place, regularly updated, and make sure such are properly maintained (e.g. knowledge and resources available)
- Work closely with the regional Business Development teams to understand needs of the customers and be able to translate those requests into winning solutions and proposals.
- Track performance of wins and losses and be able to implement changes to achieve improved results.
- Work with and adjust when required to Pricing models, tools and systems to ensure pre-calculated profitability is met while working with the PM team to produce winning proposals
Your Profile
- Master’s degree or equivalent in engineering, business administration or economics required
- Min 5 years of international experience out of which 3 in managerial positions
- Engine engineering (workscoping) & maintenance costing experience
- Min 5 years of experience in Aviation/MRO
- Excellent project management skills, result and deadline orientated
- Interpersonal skills for relationship management and teamworking required
- Strong communication, analytical and problem-solving skills required
- Language skills: English professional proficiency (C1 must), German B2 preferred
