The International School Zurich North is seeking an experienced Head of Primary to oversee its primary education. About the role
TheHead of Primaryat International School Zurich North (ISZN) is a pivotal role, overseeing the strategic, academic, and operational leadership of the Primary School. This position requires an experienced, inspirational educator who can foster a positive, inclusive, and high-performing school culture.The role includes overall responsibility for the Nursery (LittleIbex), Early Years, and Primary School, ensuring a cohesive, high-qualitylearning journey from the earliest years onward. As a key member of the Senior Team (ST), the Head of Primary will workclosely with the Executive Principal and the Head of Secondary to bring theschool’s vision to life and drive forward its strategic priorities.

Who we are looking for: The ideal candidate will be hands-on, proactive, and capable of setting strategic direction while supporting daily operations and building strong relationships. It is essential that the candidate possesses Qualified Teacher Status. Proven experience in a leadership role within a primary or elementary school setting is required, along with a strong understanding of primary education best practices and curriculum development. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are crucial, as is the ability to inspire and motivate both staff and students. Additionally, a commitment to continuous professional development is essential.
