Job Description:

JOB PURPOSE

Reporting to the Chief Information Officer, the Head of IT Reservation and Inventory Platforms will manage IT services for reservation and inventory management functions, including Setup, Inventory Management, Itinerary Planning, Flight Management, and Tour Operating. The role involves establishing and maintaining relationships with business stakeholders and driving the IT strategy and solution delivery for related platforms in line with CIO guidelines.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

  • Collaborate with the CIO to develop an evolution strategy aligned with the company's business strategy.
  • Ensure alignment between Business Functions and IT Departments, maintaining high customer satisfaction.
  • Manage a comprehensive IT portfolio and lead teams.
  • Understand product/service structures and business aspects, demonstrating relationship management skills.
  • Gather Business Requirements and support scope definition for Business Initiatives.
  • Define an evolutionary roadmap for Reservation and Inventory IT services.
  • Promote innovation by monitoring technology trends and their impact on business processes.
  • Ensure solution delivery through effective release management.
  • Lead platform and vendor evaluation and selection processes.
  • Negotiate and manage vendor engagement with internal stakeholders.
  • Manage a diverse team with technical and functional skills.
  • Fluent in English; proficiency in other European languages is an advantage.
  • Degree in Computer Science, Business Administration, Economics, Mathematics, or related field.
