As Head of IT Operations, you’ll own the strategic and operational IT landscape at one of Switzerland’s leading marketing agencies. Beyond ensuring reliable infrastructure and support, you’ll drive critical transformation projects like our ERP rollout. You will clearly articulate and implement the strategy for the company’s systems and technology landscape and work closely with our CFO, senior management, and business teams. Your leadership will elevate IT from a support function to a strategic enabler of our growth plans.

Your responsibilities

You are responsible for the operational, strategic, and leadership aspects of the IT Operations department. Together with your team, you ensure IT governance, operations, security, and the development of systems. You plan and operate IT services necessary for optimal support of business processes and manage the conception of IT architectures and services, including budgeting, controlling, and procurement of IT resources. You work closely with the head of business operations to establish priorities for technical and process changes within our tool landscape.

Your involvements include:

• Developing and leading a distributed team of IT operations specialists and serving as a strategic partner for management on technical and strategic IT questions.
• Ensuring all internal clients receive exceptional IT service.
• Managing the company's end-user devices (macOS and Windows laptops) with your team.
• Overseeing the network and critical business infrastructure (e.g., Projektron BCS, BLP, Abacus).
• Managing and maintaining security infrastructure (e.g., Zscaler, Google Workspace, JumpCloud) and operating and extending MDM and directory solutions for proactive device management and deployment.
• Monitoring system utilization, handling notifications and security warnings, and initiating appropriate actions and escalations. Ensuring security practices are implemented and operations adhere to security guidelines.
• Keeping operational documentation and end-user self-service pages up-to-date.
• Overseeing onboarding and offboarding processes for employees.
• Continuously improving the overall end-user customer journey.
