How you’ll make an impact
Lead the GIS Operations department with 150 employees, ensuring optimal organization, staffing, and skill development.
Manage production activities including assembly, testing, operational purchasing interface with Feeder Factories, planning, troubleshooting, industrial engineering, maintenance, production data management, and software tools.
Direct and monitor production to meet specifications, schedules, volumes, and quality standards, prioritizing according to Hitachi principles.
Own the short- to mid-term execution of functional strategy, including labor allocation, production transfer, and implementation of new EconiQ products.
Drive innovation in manufacturing processes with a focus on quality and cost, reducing COPQ and improving productivity through complex problem-solving.
Foster a culture of continuous improvement and operational excellence, identifying opportunities for cost savings and efficiency gains.
Lead Health & Safety initiatives, continuously improving standards and implementing lessons learned from past incidents.
Your background
Proven experience in manufacturing and production operations.
Strong understanding of Gas Insulated Switchgear operational processes, including SAP.
Expertise in lean management and process optimization.
Demonstrated collaborative behavior under pressure, with the ability to communicate and influence global leadership.
Bachelor of Science in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, with further education in Business Administration.
Strong leadership experience managing large teams at the department level.
Full professional proficiency in English and German.
