Qualifikationen

  • 8+ years of experience in Compliance, especially in client onboarding.
  • Strong knowledge of Private Banking, Wealth Management, and Asset Management required.
  • Fluent in English and at least one other language (French, German, Swiss German, Italian).

Jobbeschreibung

Lead and manage the Onboarding & Periodic Reviews team (approx. 15+ people) within the legal entity EFG Bank AG, spread over the 3 locations: Zürich, Geneva, and Lugano. Oversee all KYC / AML processes and procedures to ensure proper risk management and adherence to the internal framework and regulatory requirements.

Main Responsibilities

  • Oversight of Onboarding & Periodic Reviews activities.
  • Management of the team across 3 locations, defining priorities, setting goals, and leading people.
  • Provide support and guidance to the team and the front office.
  • Escalate sensitive and/or urgent issues to the Head of Financial Crime or her deputy.
  • Collaborate and maintain strong relationships with the First Line of Defense (FLoD) and other stakeholders, including foreign Compliance units.
  • Prepare, participate in, and follow-up on internal and external audits.
  • Prepare management reports, statistics, and KPIs for internal use and Group Compliance.
  • Provide trainings and workshops to compliance and front office teams.
  • Stay updated on regulatory changes affecting the business or processes and propose strategies accordingly.
  • Promote compliance awareness and support the development of a risk culture within the bank.
  • Maintain and enhance onboarding and periodic review processes, systems, and tools through projects, guidelines, and new tool development.

Professional Skills

  • 8+ years of experience in Compliance, especially in client onboarding, financial crime, and transaction monitoring.
  • Advanced compliance certifications are a plus.
  • Strong leadership skills.
  • Knowledge of Private banking, Wealth Management, and Asset Management.
  • Understanding of commercial challenges.
  • Solution-driven and pragmatic mindset.
  • Flexibility and resourcefulness.
  • Ability to work across different functions.
  • Willingness to travel regularly within Switzerland.
