Axians Somnitec AG is seeking a Cloud Engineering leader in Switzerland to steer a seven-person team, develop capabilities, and align cloud services with regulatory requirements. You will drive recruitment, performance reviews, and strategic workforce planning while fostering a high-performing culture focused on service and customer outcomes.

Applicants should have several years of leadership in engineering or infrastructure, deep IT/managed services experience, and a degree in computer science.

• Disciplinary and functional leadership of the Cloud Engineering team (7 employees)

Requirements

• Several years of leadership and hands‑on experience in an engineering or infrastructure environment
• Industry experience in IT, ideally in a managed services environment
• Completed higher education in computer science (HF/FH) or an equivalent qualification
• In‑depth understanding of modern cloud, platform, and infrastructure services
• Experience leading and developing technical teams and specialist departments
• Experience in knowledge, competency, and talent management is an advantage
• Proven experience managing technical specialists
• Strong affinity for standardization, quality management, and automation
• Analytical, structured, and solution‑oriented approach to work
• Very good command of German and English, both written and spoken
