- Work with local risk engineering teams from the market units on governance matters
- Develop and implement consistent principles and frameworks for Risk Engineering across the entire group and promote innovation
- Implement a tool (such as Snapris, Majesco or similar) to standardize and facilitate risk assessment
- Design and conduct training sessions and workshops for risk engineers in the market units
- Establish a platform for knowledge sharing and collaboration
- Plan and carry out technical reviews
- Monitor risk indicators and drive the continuous improvement of risk engineering processes and practices based on lessons learnt
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including Underwriting, Compliance, Claims, IT, and other relevant functions
- Extensive experience in risk engineering in the insurance industry
- Strong leadership qualities with experience in functional and / or line management
- Solid knowledge of governance topics and experience in developing guidelines and processes
- Strong conceptual skills and a structured, proactive solution-oriented approach
- Excellent communication skills and experience in stakeholder management
- Able to work independently in an international environment with various responsibilities and contacts
- Fluent in English and German (French or Spanish is an advantage)
- Willingness to travel within Europe (up to 25%)
