Tethys Robotics is seeking a motivated Mechanical Engineering Intern to support the development of underwater robotic systems in a fast-moving engineering environment in the Zurich area.

You will work on mechanical development, CAD design, prototyping, manufacturing drawings, and hardware integration while collaborating with experienced engineers and taking ownership of defined projects. This internship offers substantial responsibility and growth toward a permanent role.

Qualifikationen

• Pursuing or recently completed a BSc or MSc in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, Robotics or a related field.
• Solid CAD skills and ability to work on practical engineering tasks beyond theory.

Aufgaben

• Work on the mechanical development of underwater robotic systems, turning concepts into functional hardware.
• CAD design and mechanical engineering of components and assemblies; prototyping and iterative design improvements.
• Prepare manufacturing drawings and support assembly and hardware integration; conduct mechanical tests.
• Collaborate with mechanical, electrical and production engineers; own clearly defined development projects.
