Job summary

Jet Aviation Geneva is seeking a hands-on technician to support Ground Support Equipment, tooling, and vehicles in a busy, multicultural facility.

You will maintain, repair, install, and prepare tools and GSE, perform vehicle upkeep, and help ensure safety, quality, and readiness for projects. Fluent French is required; English and German are advantageous.

Qualifications

• Completed apprenticeship in electrical or mechanical field preferred.
• At least two years of maintenance experience in aviation, automotive, rail, or a comparable technical environment.
• Fluent French is required; English and German are advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Operate Shipping, Tools, and GSE sections; store and manage equipment.
• Maintain, repair, install, organize, and prepare tools, test sets, and GSE for use.
• Perform vehicle maintenance, wash and clean fuel tanks, and in-house repairs.
• Keep vehicles, GSE, tools, shelves, and area clean and ready for use.
• Assist technicians in selecting the appropriate tools and equipment.
• Contribute to GSE development and continuous improvement per company standards.
• Prepare areas for audits and uphold Quality and Safety Policies.

You will play a key role in ensuring exceptional levels of service and quality for both internal and external customers. The ideal candidate is proactive, flexible, and continuously seeks opportunities to improve processes within the team and across the facility.Your role• Store and equipment operations: Operate the Shipping, Tools, and GSE sections.• Tools, test sets, and GSE maintenance: Maintain, repair, install, organize, and prepare tools, test sets, and GSE for use in the Tool Shop and workshops.• Vehicle and facility maintenance : Perform vehicle maintenance, wash and clean fuel tanks, and complete in-house repairs or installations as required.• Equipment and area readiness: Keep vehicles, GSE, tools, storage shelves, and the GSE area clean, organized, serviceable, and ready for use for maintaining projects efficiency.• Technical support: Assist technicians and maintenance personnel in selecting the appropriate tools and equipment for their tasks.• GSE development and continuous improvement: Manufacture and/or improve GSE in accordance with company standards.
