The role leads commercial strategy for Small Molecules, advancing growth initiatives and market opportunities through collaboration with Marketing, Sales, Portfolio Management, Operations, and R&D.

Travel up to ~40% is expected. The ideal candidate combines deep CDMO experience with strong leadership, strategic thinking, and exceptional stakeholder management

Qualifikationen

• Master’s degree in Life Sciences, Engineering or a related discipline; an advanced degree and/or MBA is preferred.
• Extensive experience in the CDMO industry, particularly in Small Molecule drug substance and/or drug product.
• Strong understanding of the drug development process and Small Molecule manufacturing.
• Strong spray drying expertise.
• Proven commercial leadership, customer engagement and negotiation experience.

Aufgaben

• Execute Lonza’s strategic growth plan for Small Molecules, including commercial ownership of customer proposals and negotiations.
• Support the development and implementation of new business offerings aligned with Advanced Synthesis priorities.
• Provide commercial and technical expertise during customer engagements, industry conferences and strategic discussions.
• Partner with Marketing, Sales and Portfolio Management to identify and secure attractive market and customer opportunities.
• Develop commercial strategies and new business models that strengthen Lonza’s competitive position and support long-term growth.
• Maintain close collaboration with Operations, Site Leadership and R&D to align market opportunities with capabilities, capacity and investment plans.
• Monitor market trends, competitive activity and emerging technologies to identify new growth opportunities.
• Foster strong cross-functional collaboration across Commercial, Technical, Operations and Business Leadership.
