Tally Weijl is seeking a Group Controller & Treasury Manager to lead finance operations at group level in Basel. This hands-on role combines financial control, cash management, and business partnering to support strategic decisions across the international retail group.

The ideal candidate will manage a small finance team and partner with cross-functional teams to ensure accuracy, efficiency, and compliance, while driving data-driven insights for strategic planning.

Qualifikationen

• Experience in controlling and treasury within an international company (retail/fashion preferred).
• Strong understanding of financial reporting, liquidity management, and forecasting.
• Knowledge of Swiss GAAP / IFRS is a plus.
• Strategic mindset with a hands-on approach.
• Strong leadership, communication, and influencing skills.
• Highly organized, analytical, and detail-oriented.

Aufgaben

• Oversee all financial controlling activities, including budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, and management reporting.
• Lead treasury operations, ensuring effective cash flow management, liquidity planning, and bank relationships.
• Prepare consolidated group financial statements and monthly reporting packages.
• Monitor KPIs and support management with data-driven insights to guide strategic decisions.
• Manage and coach a small team within the finance department.
• Partner with cross-functional teams to ensure financial accuracy, efficiency, and compliance.
• Develop and maintain internal controls and financial processes to safeguard company assets.
• Coordinate with external auditors, tax advisors, and financial institutions.
• Contribute to strategic planning by providing actionable financial analysis and business recommendations.

About The Role

We are looking for a Group Controller & Treasury Manager to lead our Finance operations and ensure the smooth running of all controlling and treasury activities at group level. This is a key, hands-on leadership role that combines financial control, cash management, and business partnering.The ideal candidate is a highly analytical and business-minded finance professional with strong treasury knowledge and proven experience managing a small finance team in an international retail environment.

Your Responsibilities

Your Profile

• - Proven experience in controlling and treasury within an international company (ideally retail or fashion).
• - Strong understanding of financial reporting, liquidity management, and forecasting.
• - Excellent command of accounting principles (Swiss GAAP / IFRS a plus).
• - Strategic mindset with a hands-on approach.
• - Strong leadership, communication, and influencing skills.
• - Highly organized, analytical, and detail-oriented.
• - Advanced Excel skills and experience with ERP systems (SAP)
• - Fluent in English (German or French a plus).
