TALLY WEiJL is seeking an experienced Group Controller & Treasury Manager to join Basel on-site immediately. The role combines controlling, treasury, reporting, and business partnering in an international fashion company.

Open to interim, freelance, or permanent arrangements; the successful candidate will lead the finance team and interact with senior management to drive financial performance.

Qualifikationen

• Proven experience in controlling and treasury within an international organization.
• Strong knowledge of cash-flow management, liquidity planning, budgeting and forecasting.
• Experience preparing consolidated financial statements and group reporting.
• Swiss GAAP and IFRS knowledge is advantageous.
• Fluent English; German or French would be an advantage.
• Hands-on, strategic mindset with coaching experience in a small finance team.

Aufgaben

About the Opportunity

TALLY WEiJL is looking for an experienced Group Controller & Treasury Manager who can join us immediately and take ownership of our group-level controlling and treasury activities.

Our immediate priority is to find someone with the expertise and availability to step into the role quickly. We are therefore open to an interim manager, freelancer or permanent hire. An interim or freelance assignment may subsequently develop into a permanent position.

This is a hands‑on leadership role combining financial controlling, treasury, reporting and business partnering within an international fashion company.

Your Responsibilities

• Take immediate ownership of group controlling and treasury activities.
• Lead budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis and management reporting.
• Manage cash flow, liquidity planning and banking relationships.
• Prepare consolidated group financial statements and monthly reporting packages.
• Monitor financial and operational KPIs and provide management with actionable insights.
• Manage and support a small finance team.
• Partner with different departments to ensure financial accuracy, efficiency and compliance.
• Strengthen internal controls and improve financial processes.
• Coordinate with external auditors, tax advisers, banks and other financial partners.
• Support strategic and operational decisions through clear financial analysis and recommendations.
• Ensure a smooth handover and continuity across all critical finance activities.

Your Profile

• You are available to start immediately or at very short notice.
• Proven experience in both controlling and treasury within an international organization.
• Strong knowledge of cash-flow management, liquidity planning, budgeting and forecasting.
• Experience preparing consolidated financial statements and group reporting.
• Solid understanding of accounting principles; Swiss GAAP and IFRS are strong advantages.
• A strategic mindset combined with a practical, hands‑on approach.
• Experience managing or coaching a small finance team.
• Advanced Excel skills and experience with ERP systems, ideally SAP.
• Fluent English; German or French would be an advantage.
• Experience in retail, fashion or another fast-paced international environment would be highly valued.
• Able to work on‑site at our Basel headquarters from Monday to Friday.
