The opportunity

Join Hitachi Energy as the GPG Grid & Power Quality Solutions transformation PMO and lead a high-impact global scale-up initiative at the heart of the energy transition. Reporting directly to the Global Product Group Manager GPQSS and embedded in the global management team, this role drives the end-to-end transformation of a rapidly growing business. You'll spearhead cross-functional initiatives across operations, engineering, sales, HR, supply chain, and more—redefining how the organization scales through digitalization, process automation, cultural evolution, and strategic change management. From implementing cutting-edge PLM systems to enhancing factory capacity and go-to-market strategies, you'll challenge the status quo and shape the future of a business poised for exponential growth.

How you’ll make an impact

• Lead the overall transformation-for-scale program for the global GPQSS business. The role is part of the global management team and reports to the Global Head of GPQSS.
• Work with the entire business (including Quality, Sales & Tendering, Human Resources, Operations, Project Management, Engineering, Service, Product Management, SCM, Factories, Construction, R&D, etc.) to define and implement a successful scale-up strategy for GPQSS.
• Lead several cross-organizational initiatives and ensure progress across the entire program.
• Be an active member of the global management team and contribute in all areas.
• Drive key initiatives that encompass company culture & leadership, change management, process automation & digitalization, go-to-market strategy, quality enhancement, lead time reduction and planning, capacity increases in factories and supply chain, etc.
• Manage the implementation of the product information architecture (PLM) tool and end-to-end digitalization.
• Continuously search for improved ways to operate through collaboration, benchmarking, expert involvement, and challenging the status quo. As the business is expected to grow significantly over the next few years, the scaling program must rethink how we operate.
• Lead and support change management activities to facilitate the adoption and alignment of new processes, systems, and behaviours.

Your background

• Senior, global and cross-functional organization leadership experience in a matrix organization
• Track record of successful large-scale transformations.
• Excellent executive-level communication, stakeholder management and collaboration skills.
• Understanding of the end-of-the-end business value chain with technical expertise in the energy sector.
• Ability to connect strong strategic thinking and organizational leadership skills.
• Experience in driving changes by leading through others.
• Proficiency in both spoken & written English language is required.
