Job summary

Randstad Switzerland seeks a Multifunctional Operator / Chemical Laboratory Technician to join a cutting-edge sequencing lab setting in a GMP-driven environment. Qualifications

• Completed vocational training as a chemical laboratory technician or a Bachelor's degree in chemistry.
• Experience in a GMP environment and GMP-compliant documentation.
• Fluent written and spoken German; good English skills are an advantage in an international innovation environment.
• 1-2 years of professional experience in the manufacture of chemical/pharmaceutical products.
• Communicative and team-oriented personality with an entrepreneurial mindset and a conscientious, precise working style.
• High willingness to learn and commit, as well as a strong interest in onboarding into new, complex molecular biological processes.

Responsibilities

• Active participation in establishing and executing new sequencing processes and their components.
• Involvement in development programs and transfer projects to scale diagnostic platforms and introduce new products.
• Testing and preparation of critical materials and reagents for sequencing technology.
• Provision and synthesis of chemical precursors for electrodes and sensors in dynamic production.
• Execution of chemical pre-treatments on components, plus incoming goods inspection and analysis of chemicals and raw materials.
• Final inspection of sensors and electrodes according to test instructions and QM system.
• Timely execution and documentation of analyses and GMP-compliant documentation of work processes.
