Zusammenfassung

ABB Energy Industries division seeks an experienced engineer to own product lifecycle management for UNITROL, MEGATROL, and SYNCHROTACT. You will lead feasibility studies, manage global product changes, and support continuous product improvement across HW/SW and BOM, while driving cost optimization in collaboration with Product Management and R&D.

You will act as a global technical authority, perform remote diagnostics, lead RCA efforts, and implement corrective actions to enhance reliability

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor's or master's in electrical engineering or equivalent.
• 8+ years of experience in field service or engineering within power generation, embedded software and control hardware.
• Fluency in English; additional languages are an asset.

Aufgaben

• Own product lifecycle management and continuous improvement for UNITROL, MEGATROL and SYNCHROTACT, including HW/SW/BOM changes.
• Drive product quality through remote diagnostics, root cause analysis (RCA) and sustainable corrective actions.
• Act as global technical authority, support ABB teams worldwide and guide standardization aligned with long-term product strategy.
