Approach People Recruitment is assisting a Swiss industrial group in finding a Technical Sales Manager. You will develop sales of highly technical industrial equipment across international markets and build long-term customer relationships.

The role requires a technical background in mechanical/industrial engineering or automation, at least 5 years in technical B2B sales, and native German with proficient English and French. International travel around 30–50% is expected.

Qualifikationen

• Technical education in mechanical engineering, industrial engineering, automation or a related field.
• At least 5 years of successful experience in technical B2B sales.

Aufgaben

• Promote and sell highly technical industrial equipment to an international customer base.
• Identify and develop new business opportunities and potential customers.
• Develop and implement effective prospecting, sales and negotiation strategies.
• Manage and strengthen relationships with existing customers.
• Convert commercial opportunities into profitable and sustainable contracts.
• Develop and maintain a strong international network of customers and business partners.
• Understand customer requirements and propose appropriate technical solutions.
• Prepare technical and commercial proposals tailored to individual customer needs.
• Work closely with engineering, R&D and customer service teams throughout the sales process.
• Contribute market and customer insights to the development of new products and solutions.
• Represent the company at international trade fairs, exhibitions and industry events.
