Job summary

Syngenta Crop Protection seeks a leader to drive technical development of AI-based products and innovative technologies. You will oversee global field trials, coordinate regions, and translate data into strategic recommendations for product use and growth.

The role requires extensive agronomy expertise, cross-functional collaboration, and the ability to influence global teams across R&D and Marketing. International travel is expected.

Qualifications

• MSc or PhD in agronomy.
• Five+ years delivering development projects in country and region; agronomy experience.
• Experience across global markets—multiple regions.
• Knowledge of agribusiness and crop protection technologies.
• Familiarity with fungicides and product development.
• Strong communication and analytical skills in a multicultural environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead the global technical development of new AI products and key strategic projects from field testing to launch.
• Plan and coordinate harmonized field trial programs with regions and countries.
• Provide technical positioning and strategy for product use and development plans.
• Translate data into evidence-based recommendations for decisions.
• Support launch plans with marketing and customer needs.
• Lead biology activities within global teams and partnerships.
• Foster technical networking and stakeholder engagement with customers and influencers.
