Zusammenfassung

Active Consulting Ltd is supporting an internationally active pharmaceutical client in the Schaffhausen region in recruiting a Senior Sustainability Manager. You will drive the group’s sustainability agenda and translate strategic objectives into measurable initiatives across the organisation.

You will collaborate with Operations, Procurement, Supply Chain and R&D, coordinating initiatives across international sites and reporting to senior management on risks, opportunities and progress.

Qualifikationen

• University degree in Sustainability, Environmental Sciences or a related field.
• Proven experience in sustainability/ESG, ideally within an international industrial environment.
• Strong knowledge of sustainability reporting, GHG accounting and regulatory frameworks.
• Experience in developing and implementing sustainability strategies and initiatives.
• Strong analytical, project management and stakeholder management skills.
• Strategic mindset with a strong focus on implementation and measurable results.
• Fluent in English; German is an advantage.

Aufgaben

• Develop and drive the group-wide sustainability strategy and roadmap
• Lead sustainability reporting and ESG data management, ensuring compliance with relevant regulatory requirements
• Define, monitor and further develop sustainability targets and KPIs
• Drive initiatives related to carbon reduction, energy efficiency, circularity and responsible sourcing
• Work closely with Operations, Procurement, Supply Chain, R&D and other key functions
• Advise senior management on sustainability-related developments, risks and opportunities
• Coordinate sustainability initiatives across international sites and stakeholders
