Zusammenfassung

GE Vernova seeks a Supplier Engagement Leader to drive supply strategies with commodity leaders and cross‑functional teams. You will optimize supplier performance for MSD, BOP, and HRSG value streams within the HDNU projects sourcing team.

Responsibilities include extending lean execution to suppliers, leading problem solving, and mentoring the sourcing organization in lean manufacturing. Travel up to 25–40% is required.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor’s degree or HS Diploma/Equivalent major experience in Supply Chain.
• Significant experience in Sourcing, Supply Chain, Engineering, Finance, Operations or Project Management in Power Generation or EPC companies.
• Willingness to travel internationally up to 25-40%.

Aufgaben

• Partner with commodity leaders to execute supply strategy.
• Partner with suppliers to improve delivery performance for physical products and supporting documentation.
• Establish daily management processes to support communication of project execution status and risks.
• Extend lean thinking and execution to suppliers.
• Using Problem Solving and Lean Tools, lead cross‑functional teams identifying systemic causes of delivery delays and implementing long‑term improvement actions.
• Provides technical expertise in areas such as process development, capacity planning, inventory requirements and operational management within a project based environment
• Coach, train and mentor sourcing organization members, on the fundamentals and principals of Lean Manufacturing.
