Vitol seeks an experienced Security Operations Lead to build and manage its internal SOC. Based in Geneva or London, you’ll command a distributed team across Singapore, London, and Houston, directing incident handling and detection engineering to align with MITRE ATT&CK and security objectives.

You will own playbooks, runbooks, tabletop exercises, and cross-functional incident response with IT, Legal, and Compliance. Strong leadership and communication are essential for success.

Qualifikationen

• 4+ years of progressive cybersecurity ops, IR, or security engineering.
• Experience leading or managing a SOC team (remote/distributed).
• Strong understanding of SOC operating models (tiered, hybrid, follow-the-sun).
• Proven track record building or improving detection and response capabilities.

Aufgaben

• Lead a team of SOC analysts/engineers across global offices with 24/7 coverage.
• Define and enforce SOC playbooks, escalation paths, and metrics (MTTD, MTTR, false positives).
• Report SOC performance, threat trends, and risk posture to CISO and stakeholders.
• Manage outsourced SOC relationships and drive continuous improvement.
