Job summary

International Telecommunication Union (ITU) in Geneva seeks a Cybersecurity Operations Manager to lead the 24/7 SOC and oversee security projects, including SIEM and NGFW deployments, with external MSSP partners. You will drive risk-informed strategies across cloud environments and AI/LLM security.

The role requires an advanced degree in a related field; CISSP/CISM are strongly preferred, with 7+ years in cybersecurity operations and leadership. Fixed-term contract in Switzerland.

Qualifications

• Advanced degree in CS/Information Security or related field.
• CISSP and CISM certifications are strongly preferred.
• Extensive experience with SIEM, SOC, MSSP oversight and incident response.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end cybersecurity projects and SOC operations.
• Manage external MSSP, SLAs, and incident response playbooks.
• Oversee multi-cloud security and AI/LLM risk governance.
• Drive security architecture improvements and vendor management.
