Overview

Global Segment Senior Project Manager role at Kenvue. This position reports to the Global Franchise IMO Leader and is based in Switzerland (Europe/Middle East/Africa region) with a hybrid work location.

What You Will Do

The Global Segment Sr. Project Manager (PM) is responsible for managing global Innovation and Renovation projects in support of Kenvue’s and assigned Segment’s Strategic Plan, Objectives and Key Results (OKRs).

Role Reports to Sr Director, Global Segment Operations, Self Care. Based out of Kenvue office in Switzerland.

Key Responsibilities
  • Concurrently oversee multiple highly complex global product innovation and renovation projects from definition through launch following Kenvue’s Innovation and Project Management playbooks, standards, and tools.
  • Provide overall project management to a global cross-functional team including R&D, Marketing, Packaging, Operations, Finance, Regional Project Management, and others to deliver project goals on time, within budget, and with quality. Remove execution barriers and engage decision makers when projects deviate from plan.
  • Own the overall project plan including inputs to scope, business case, schedule and launch timing and risks. Lead cross-functional planning sessions to develop an integrated execution plan and risk management strategy. Coordinate team meetings and minutes; track milestones; establish contingency and acceleration plans; facilitate decisions and issue resolution.
  • Assess risk using business knowledge and technical skills; develop contingency and mitigation plans; elevate issues. Lead updates, stage-gate reviews, and governance recommendations. Act as independent advisor at governance forums with clear communications on risks and needs for project success.
  • Develop understanding of assigned Segment/Brand/Need State’s strategy, technologies, and supply chain to support decision making from chartering through development to launch.
  • Utilize project metrics and lessons learned to improve results, processes and tools; coach and support other PMs and participate in Communities of Practices.
  • Maintain accurate project and portfolio data for visibility at all organizational levels. Support Operations BDT Leads and Project Management BDT with ad hoc data requests as required.
  • Possible additional responsibility as a PM input for Brand Development Team ideation/feasibility and liaison between Brand Development Team(s) and global/regional project management community as required.
What We Are Looking For
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s Degree (minimum)
  • Minimum 10 years of business/work experience
  • Minimum 7 years of project management experience, with at least 5 years managing large, complex new product commercialization or life cycle management projects from ideation through benefit realization
  • Ability to interact across all levels of the organization, lead discussions, and align cross-functional partners without direct line authority
  • Excellent verbal and written communication, with ability to distill complex issues into concise analysis for senior leaders (up to VP)
  • Strong business and financial acumen; understanding of financial principles and project evaluation methods
  • Inclusive team leadership with a track record of delivering results through others with trust and empowerment
  • Ability to thrive with ambiguity and act as a change agent; adapt quickly to changing dynamics
  • Proven track record of meeting project objectives in fast-paced environments by managing scope, quality, time and cost
  • Ability to work independently without direct line management authority
  • Accountability, strong time management and prioritization skills
  • Comfort challenging the status quo and improving processes
Desired Qualifications
  • Master’s Degree or MBA or other advanced degree
  • PMP certification or other project management certification
  • Experience in Consumer Goods industry
  • Experience in GMP or regulated environments (Pharmaceutical, Medical Device, OTC)
  • Experience in Process Excellence / Six Sigma methodologies
