Zurich Insurance is seeking a Trade & Economic Sanctions Senior Compliance Officer in Zurich. You will oversee sanctions framework, provide risk-based guidance, and coordinate cross-border responses with Group Legal and regulators. The role sits within Group Compliance and aligns with the Financial Crime Team.

You will translate complex requirements into practical controls, lead screenings, and deliver training across business units while navigating a dynamic international landscape.

Qualifikationen

• 10+ years in Compliance with Financial Crime and Sanctions
• Experience designing and overseeing sanctions frameworks and controls
• Familiar with US/UK/EU/Swiss regimes and multi-jurisdictional sanctions in practice
• Ability to translate regulatory requirements into practical guidance
• Strong collaboration and influencing skills across functions and regions
• Proven ability to manage high-risk sanctions cases and licensing matters

Aufgaben

• Oversee and maintain the Trade & Economic Sanctions Framework
• Provide risk-based advice on complex sanctions cases across jurisdictions
• Review assessments on referred sanctions cases including renewals and claims
• Lead assessment of new regulations and coordinate group-wide responses
• Define and maintain global sanctions screening standards and tools
• Ensure alignment between screening outputs and policy administration systems
• Provide second-line oversight across onboarding, monitoring, and claims lifecycle
• Advise on sanctions breaches and regulator interactions
• Collaborate with Group Legal on cross-border legal scenarios
• Deliver training and ongoing support to business units and local teams
