Hitachi, Ltd. is seeking an experienced quality leader to drive quality across large EPC projects in a multinational matrix. You will partner with project teams, customers, suppliers, and site organizations to ensure quality requirements are understood, implemented, and continuously improved.

You will act as a trusted quality partner to project management, helping manage risks, deliver objectives, and enhance customer satisfaction through structured problem solving and lean methods.

Qualifikationen

• Five+ years in EPC project quality management within large, complex organizations.
• Experience in power, energy, renewables or oil & gas sectors preferred.
• ISO 9001 knowledge; internal auditor certification advantageous.
• SAP Quality Module and project/risk management knowledge; PMI/CAPM certification beneficial.
• Experience with supplier and site quality processes (ITP, PPAP, inspections, testing, punch lists).
• Knowledge of 8D, root cause analysis, PDCA, 5 Why, Lean Six Sigma, FMEA.
• Excellent English communication; German or other languages advantageous.
• Willingness to travel to project sites and supplier locations.

Aufgaben

• Plan, organize, lead, and monitor quality-related project activities, resources, KPIs, and deliverables.
• Develop, implement, and maintain the Project Quality Plan and ensure ISO 9001 compliance.
• Collaborate closely with project teams, suppliers, site organizations, and stakeholders.
• Lead audits, non-conformances, corrective actions, lessons learned, quality risks, and continuous improvement.
• Monitor and report quality indicators, including NCRs, customer complaints, and project savings.
• Coordinate quality requirements for critical equipment, including ITPs, inspections, and reviews.
• Support site quality activities, including training, audits, inspections, documentation handover, and close-out.
• Promote a strong quality culture using lean methodologies to improve project execution.
