Job summary

Coopers Group is seeking a seasoned project management professional to lead global cross-functional initiatives in regulated environments. You will set up structures for development and product care, manage budgets, timelines and risk, and guide teams through waterfall and agile methodologies including SAFe and Scrum.

You will establish KPIs and OKRs to drive quality and efficiency, collaborate with multiple leads, and act as a trusted adviser for planning data and scenario analysis.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree or basic vocational training.
• Minimum 5 years cross-functional global project management within regulated environment.
• Experience with Waterfall, Agile, SAFe and Scrum methodologies.
• Proficient with IT project management tools (Google, Jira, Trello, Lucidboard).
• Fluent English; German is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Set up and lead structures for product development and product care, including scoping, timelines, resources, budgets and risk control.
• Implement and guide project management processes across teams, including milestone and capacity reviews.
• Establish and report KPIs/OKRs/OBPs to improve project quality and delivery.
• Identify risks and communicate issues to stakeholders; support decision-making with planning data.
• Collaborate and coach teams, promoting continuous improvement and agile practices.

Job description

Tasks & Responsibilities:

• Project Implementation: Sets up and leads structures for product development and product care, including scoping, communication, timelines, resources, budgets, progress, and cost control. Creates and maintains integrated project plans, ensuring efficient team operations. Accountable for quality in risk management and lessons learned, critical path analysis, scenario creation, budgeting, and robust planning.
• Project management execution: Consistently implements project management processes including guiding and managing preparation for milestone reviews, capacity reviews, as applicable & may lead improvement initiatives. Selects and applies suitable methodologies, coaching teams in agile practices and effectively handling hybrid Agile roles.
• Goal Setting and Advisory: Establishes, measures, and reports Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), standard metrics, Objectives and Key Results (OKRs) or Outcome Based Planning (OBPs) to improve project quality, efficiency, and effectiveness. Acts as a trusted advisor, supporting holistic planning, risk management, scenario creation, and critical path analysis, serving as the single point of contact for project data.
• Risk Management and Information Support: Identifies project risks and potential impacts on budget, timeline, and scope. Proactively addresses gaps, bottlenecks, and delays, proposing solutions and communicating issues to stakeholders. Manages team information to support decision making at various levels and provides planning data for scenario analysis.
• Collaboration and Coaching: Works closely with various leads and partners to ensure optimized project delivery. Coaches team members and peers, developing new skills and providing constructive feedback. Actively contributes to team learning by recognizing areas to strengthen and exploring solutions together.

Your background:

• Bachelor Degree or basic vocational training
• You bring a minimum of 5 years experience in cross functional global project management within regulated environment, preferably life cycle management, development of Diagnostic, MedTech, pharmaceutical or food products
• You are experienced in Waterfall, Agile, SAFe and Scrum methodologies
• Experience with IT project management tools is a must (please provide examples) Google, Jira, Trello, Lucidboard
• Languages: Fluent English, German is a plus
